I recently added a “Product Review” section to our new menu because I wanted to start writing reviews for products that I’ve taken and had clients take. The goal here is to give you all my personal experience with these supplements and products so you don’t have to hope that a certain product is worth the money or not.
Included with these product reviews, I’m going to try to give you a roadmap to getting the most out of the product.
What’s this mean for you?
Not only will you get a review of the actual product, I’m going to do my best to map out some ways to make these products more effective.
So lets get on with it!

NLA for Her: Shred Her Product Review
For those who don’t know much about the ingredients, that’s okay. A lot of those ingredients are general ingredients in most fat burners.
Going over the ingredients is a bit over the capacity of this review. If you are interested in learning more about the specific ingredient, I highly advise finding a reputable source to learn from.
What do I think about Shred Her?
Overall, I feel this supplement is great for many reasons:
- It isn’t harsh – It doesn’t have a lot of chemicals that have side effects.
- You only have to take 2 capsules a day.
- It’s all-natural
- It does a great job on curbing appetite.
I don’t know how many others may have tried another fat burner, but most of them will give you either jitters, make you so hot that you sweat all of the time, make you have a bad energy crash, upset your stomach, or ALL of the above!
I was happy to find the smooth energy levels that I experienced when I took these. I didn’t notice my appetite being suppressed until after about 3 days of taking the supplement; this is fine, just an observation.
Within a week I noticed I was dropping water weight quickly and I noticed I was not holding onto as much water as usual. This is great because bloat and holding onto water is one of the biggest reasons that your weight fluctuates so much.
Overall I was very happy with Shred Her.
As with any supplement, I recommend you taking only one pill per day for 2 days to assess your tolerance to it. This is one of the most subtle and softest (but effective) dosing that I’ve experienced.
Get the Most Out of Shred Her
In this section, I’m going to try to give you some tips to get the most out of Shred Her.
A fat burner isn’t a magical weight loss pill like many think it is.
Think about it – You start taking a fat burner, you don’t change your diet, and you don’t exercise regularly.
Do you think you’re going to start losing weight?
There’s a few things that you can do to “amp up” the effectiveness of this supplement and here they are (do any or all):
- Cut 300 calories from your every day diet – Cutting something that has sugars or carbs is ideal.
- Make sure to get at least 30 minutes of cardio for at least 4 days a week. This could be something like walking outside.
- Do not have any carbohydrates until after 12pm – The reasoning behind this is beyond the scope of this review… but it works.
- Cut out all sugary drinks – You can enjoy your favorite drink in moderation, but try to make it less of a habit.
- If possible, take a capsule ~30 minutes before going to the gym OR cardio.
- Increase your water intake – This may sound counter intuitive to drink water when I just said it helps you get rid of water weight, but trust me.
- Eat more protein – Doing this along with the appetite suppressing characteristics of Shred Her will help you control cravings.
Nutrition
You cannot out exercise a bad diet.
“Going on a diet” and your diet (what you eat) are two different things; I want to change what you see as regular foods.
Moderation is the most important word that you need to learn next to planning. You can eat the cake, donuts, and ice cream in moderation especially when you plan your meals.
How?
If you want to eat something that will embarrass you to admin you’ve eaten, you need to plan it out and eat accordingly the rest of the day. Having a donut or two once a week and cutting down on the other amount of sugar and carbohydrates you eat throughout the week will not completely ruin everything that you have worked towards… but going on a random binge will.
If you can get 80% of your food through fresh meats and vegetables that you prepare, the other 20% can be whatever you want. Bad things happen when you start depriving yourself of foods that you’ve grown to love.
Healthy Proteins
Proteins should be priority number 1 in your meal planning. You need to eat plenty of protein to recover fully from all of the exercising and weight training you do.
- Supplements – protein shakes or protein bars are easy and can be had on the go
- Chicken – boneless skinless chicken breasts, boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Eggs
- Beef – ground beef, steaks
- Turkey – ground turkey is a leaner substitute to ground beef if you need to cut fats or calories
Healthy Carbs
Carbs catch a bad rap because there are so many myths that people believe are true. Carbs are a source of energy and are important, but when eaten in excess they are stored as fat.
- Rice – white, brown
- Oatmeal
Healthy Fats
Fats make you fat, right? Wrong. Healthy fats are extremely important for a healthy body because they help regulate hormones, they are satiating, and frankly they make food taste better.
- Olive Oil
- Avocado
- Real Butter
As with all of this, moderation and planning are key. There’s no reason to stop eating your favorite foods you just need to adjust the rest of your diet accordingly.

I’m allergic to dairy, ice cream and milk, and shellfish. I can eat fried eggs and mash potatoes with the milk mixed in. Not sure I can take this particular supplement. Any other suggestions or should I chance it?
A lot of these supplements are created in labs where milk and shellfish are produced. I don’t want to tell you to chance it but then again I am not sure if there is enough “contamination” of those types of products. Let me try to find a supplement that’s similar that is not produced in a place that also handles dairy and shellfish.
